We are looking for merchandising talents with apparel/garment background joining our TAL family. The incumbent shall provide one-stop merchandising services to designated clients.
 
Key responsibilities
  • Provide managerial leadership to Merchandising team and coordinate with teams to attract, setup, and serve new/existing customers.
  • Collaborate with supporting teams to source suitable fabric and trims to fulfill customers’ needs.
  • Develop and improve products to grow TAL’s and the customers’ business
  • Provide samples and info (costing, marketing material) to attract new business
  • Prepare Time & Action Plan.  Ensure materials, systems, products are ready
  • Reserve adequate capacity for bulk production
  • Prepare annual budget and closely monitor to meet / exceed the approved budget
  • Promote TAL as the Supplier of Choice to our customers
  • Foster a healthy customer relationship and also cross-functional relationship
Requirements
  • Degree holder, preferably in Fashion &Textile
  • At least 8-10 years of working experience in merchandising in apparel and garment industry in which at least 3 years in managerial level
  • Experience in woven and knit product
  • Exposure in US market is preferred
  • Good team player with can-do attitude
  • Able to work under pressure and meet dead-lines
  • Embrace the usage of various systems to manage our operations
  • Good PC knowledge in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Willing to travel
